Employment Law Background and Experience
Edward has a unique background, having gained a 2:1 (hons) degree in Business Studies with Law at Salford University, followed by a diploma in Legal Studes at Birmingham University. His initial studies then culminated in a postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law. The first working legal post he had was at a regional heavyweight law firm, after which he joined Astons. Now Edward has significant experience in advising both business clients and private individuals on all aspects of employment law. He has advised on both contentious and non-contentious matters, but has significant experience in employee rights within the workplace, dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, maternity, settlement agreements etc., as well as acting for employee clients in employment tribunals across the UK. | ![]() |
